Founded in 1998, Dreadzone Sound System takes the festival favourite band Dreadzone’s legendary live sound on the road, spreading the good vibes from the acclaimed Dubwiser club night at Notting Hill Arts Club, run by the sound system for over five years. Since it began, the Sound System has been pushing Dreadzone’s DJ perspective further, keeping them at the cutting edge and leading to a DJ mix album Beatz and Bobz Vol.4, released on the Functional label.
After over ten years building a reputation as a rocking DJ experience, Dreadzone Sound System roll in the grooves of the explosive live show, raising the roof at every party, festival and club night with their deft blend of 21st century dubwise breaks & basslines, mashups, freestyling party tunes and of course the original and unmistakable Dreadzone classics.
Trystonbury is proud to welcome the Sound System’s renowned DJ Cat on the decks along with MC Spee, Dreadzone’s charismatic frontman to tear up the dancefloor in their own unique and distinctive fashion. AHOY!
